Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the MR CEO mobile app (“MR CEO”, “the app”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Using MR CEO

You may use MR CEO only if you are legally permitted to do so under the laws that apply to you. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity through your account.

2. Your account is optional

MR CEO can be used without an account. You may create an account to manage your account and access account-based features. Cloud sync is available when your plan includes it, such as Pro or an eligible trial; creating an account does not by itself upload your content.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Account deletion removes your MR CEO account and associated synced personal content from our active systems, subject to the limited retention described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Guest mode: your personal content stays on your device

Read this before you rely on guest mode. If you use MR CEO without an account, the personal content you enter is stored on your device and is not uploaded to MR CEO’s cloud database. We have no cloud copy of it and cannot recover it for you. If you delete the app, reset the device, lose it, or it stops working, that content may be lost permanently. It is also excluded from Android’s automatic backup and device-to-device transfer. Subscribe to Pro if you want your content backed up and available on other devices.

Limited technical, usage, and diagnostic data may still be processed in guest mode, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Your content is yours

Everything you write in MR CEO — Moves, Notes, Reminders, Goals, Wishlist items, Vision Board items, reviews and reflections — belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it. We do not routinely access or review your personal content. We do not use it for advertising or analytics, sell it, or use it to train AI models. It is processed only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support MR CEO, as described in the Privacy Policy.

The app itself — its software, design, name, logo, and the written material inside it including the Leadership Guide and the Today’s Mindset content library — belongs to us and is protected by copyright. You may use it personally inside the app. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or republish it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
  • access the app’s backend or another user’s data by any means other than the app itself;
  • interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service;
  • use the app for anything unlawful, or in breach of the App Store or Google Play terms that also apply to your download.

6. Free plan, trial, and Pro subscription

MR CEO is free to use. An optional Pro subscription adds benefits such as cloud sync across devices and higher limits where they apply. Current prices, subscription periods, and any free trial are shown in the app before you subscribe.

Some limits are part of MR CEO’s product design and may apply to both Free and Pro. Pro does not necessarily remove every limit in the app. The app shows the limits that currently apply.

7. Billing, renewal, and cancellation

  • All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). MR CEO does not receive or store your payment-card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next renewal, in accordance with the rules of the App Store or Google Play.
  • Cancel at any time in your store account settings: on iOS, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you generally keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • If a free trial is offered, its eligibility, duration, conversion to a paid subscription, and other applicable terms are shown before you subscribe and are subject to the rules of the App Store or Google Play.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies and applicable consumer law. We cannot issue them on your behalf.

What happens when Pro ends. Your plan returns to Free and cloud sync stops. Content already on your device stays on your device. Content already synced may remain in MR CEO’s cloud systems unless you delete your account. Free limits may prevent you from adding new items until you are below them, but the downgrade does not delete anything you created.

Subscription prices or plan features may change. Price changes are handled in accordance with the rules of the App Store or Google Play, including any notice or consent requirements that apply. If plan features change materially, we may let you know in the app where appropriate.

8. Notifications

If you allow notifications, MR CEO may send reminders you schedule and, where enabled, occasional notifications related to your use of the app. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your device settings. Delivery depends on your device and operating system, so we cannot guarantee that a scheduled reminder always arrives exactly on time.

9. MR CEO is not professional advice

MR CEO is a personal-organisation tool. Nothing in the app — including the Leadership Guide, the Today’s Mindset content library, prompts, and review questions — is medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice. Do not use it as a substitute for a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or need medical help, contact a professional or your local emergency service.

10. Availability and changes to the app

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it working and its data safe, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that sync will never fail. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the service. If we discontinue the service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising from your use of MR CEO. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions — in that case, they apply only to the extent permitted.

12. Ending these terms

You may stop using MR CEO at any time by deleting your account and the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms — for example by attacking the service or attempting to access another user’s data.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date above. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes or ask for your consent. Your continued use of MR CEO after updated terms take effect may constitute acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of MR CEO, are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Nothing in this clause takes away consumer protections you are entitled to under the law of the country you live in.

15. Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and the developer of MR CEO, who operates the app under the MR CEO name. Questions about these terms: support@mrceo.app.
